6. Explain what was successful about your prelim. What would you improve if you could reshoot it?

Personally I would have chosen a different location/room to film in as we were limited on time to shoot the film. A different location for filming would have also been a good choice as we kept being disrupted by other students going to the bathroom. The noises from the toilets flushing, and hand dryers going off every minute as well as people from our class leaving the classroom to film (the door squeaking shut) were picked up on the camera’s audio.

I also think that we could have included a few more shot types and camera angles, the whole of my group think this would’ve added more variety to our short film in terms of camera usage. This would have also potentially of shown that we have a wide understanding of knowing how to use a camera to its absolute potential in many ways.

We could have had more dialogue between the characters myself and Nathan played as, the conversation could have been a little longer with more lines, this possibly could have inhibited the need for more camera angles and diverse shot types.
